Decree 48/2009, of April 28, laying down in the Public Service of  Canary Islands the economic measures against the crisis and for simplification administration.

In order to motivate the process of modernization and improvement of Public Administration of the Canary Islands, the Canary Islands Government, in meeting held on 22 April 2008, adopted an agreement laying down the "Actions for the Modernization of Public Administration of the Autonomous Community of Canary Island (BOC No 88 of 2.5.08). Turn and the current situation of serious economic crisis that is facing canary economy, the Government of the Canary Islands, at a meeting held on September 16 of 2008, adopted the agreement to approve the emergency measures for the simplification and reducing administrative burdens in handling and better regulation (BOC No 196 of 30.9.08), whose main objective is to eliminate barriers and contribute to improve the dynamism of the economy of the region, through elimination or reduction of administrative burdens with the consequent reduction in costs and time, taking as the priority areas of governance, social welfare, housing, employment, industry, agriculture and small and medium enterprises.

Concerning the game appears as follows:
Article 35 .- Modification of the Rules of Casinos in the Autonomous Community of Canary Islands, approved by Decree 204/2001, of December 3.

Article 28.2 be amended only in its final paragraph which shall read as follows:

"... The process that this paragraph relates shall be settled and reported immediately at the time of application, producing estimated effects when it is starting by application of the concerned person. "

In the Additional Provisions reflected, among other things,that the adjustment procedure will be made with the criterion of economic rationalization and simplification of business in the Canaries and raises the tax revision, or that the processes of simplification of administrative procedures will involve the review of taxes force, if need be made corresponding adjustments.
