The gaming industry is reinventing itself through new technology. That’s the conclusion you came to, judging by the products showed at the Malaga Trade Show such as roulettes without dealers, touch tables and machines type "A" (without prize) and type "B" (AWP) of new generation.

The phrase "Ladies and gentlemen, place your bets” is not pronounced by a dealer. It is written in multiple languages on a display with touchscreen in which customers place their bets with virtual chips. The wheel rotates continuously in the center mechanically. The people sitting around the table choose a number and color by the touch of the finger.

Among these electronic roulettes, stand out the Roulette Grand Jeu Prestige by Amatic, for its design and great elegance and the Organic Roulette-Card by Dosniha together with VID, which includes a simulator roulette cards and has 2 simultaneous games on the same machine, roulette and blackjack.

The sector is renewing itself by introducing more attractive games. Hybrid video-reel games have the strong presence here, with a gradual increase of video-only games. In line with this trend, there are the type B (AWP) machines such as “Dynamite Jones” or "La Mina de Oro", launched by GiGames or Casino Loco by JPM- Comatel, among many others. 

This trend is also appreciated in the machines type A such as table football, darts and billiards. In this division, points out a didactic machine distributed by Carfama, in which children from 3 to 8 years can draw, picking up sounds or complete words after the introduction of coins.

Manufacturers and operators expect that these new designs to invigorate the Spanish gaming industry and move forward into a promising 2010 business year.

The Spanish gaming sector suffered losses of 20% in 2009, casinos being the most affected sub-sector.
